我的 What to expect the toddler years 是06年在淘宝买的，是最新版，好象150元吧。后来在上海申东外语书店（网店）看到有旧一点的版本，但便宜很多，大概二三十块那样子。骏骏在3岁左右时，曾经有一个多月的时间说话口吃。开始时我们担心得不得了，看了很多书很多资料，中英文的都有。后来确定应该是孩子心智发展快，语言一时没跟上，大脑所想的东西难以流利表达出来所致，慢慢自己会好起来。这种情况在男孩身上更常见。大人不要表现出任何焦急的情绪，不要催促孩子说话，耐心地听，给他时间慢慢说。大人跟孩子说话也要适当放慢速度，作为示范。生活节奏最好也适当放慢。孩子说不出来的内容，可以适当给点提示。大约一个月时间，口吃现象就开始慢慢消失了。同时接触普通话和广州话也可以说是Bilingual，虽然语法非常接近，但语音差别很大。最好还是一个家长只跟孩子说一种语言。家里语言种类太多太杂，对孩子的语言发展是会有影响的。我们家就只上了普通话和英文，客家话和粤语都放弃了（不过粤语在幼儿园可以接触到一些）。如果上两种语言，我觉得问题不大，其实孩子同时接触两种语言是非常普遍的。上三种语言的话，最好要保证每种语言都有一位家庭成员跟孩子专讲，或者确定其中两种语言为主，保证有丰富的视听和有效的互动，而第三种语言则随意接触，不强求。

那如果他白天在家跟奶奶习惯了说粤语，我下班回来，有时他主动跟我说的话是粤语，我要用普通话来回答吗？这样转换似乎有些生硬？如果顺着他说，就变成一会儿普通话，一会儿粤语，有时他一句话夹杂两种语言，是不是不好？老人家对于口吃的严厉禁止，跟小孩子口吃现象的出现，一样无法阻止。。。。

从骏骏出生开始，我就只跟他说英语，骏骏的奶奶只跟他说中文，骏妈则半中半英地说。一晃五年过去了，看到骏骏的英语与国外同龄的孩子基本保持同等水平，中文则与国内同龄的孩子基本保持同等水平，感到我们的耕耘总算没白费。回望来时路，赫然发现，由于自己的懒惰，基本没留下什么记录，殊为可惜。搜罗一下以前写的一点东西贴出来，为以后坚持记录我们的双语之路作个铺垫吧。

非常支持和赞同你的说法。只是在我家没有英文厉害的人。。。勉强过级，但是早还给老师了。我把打算给中文儿歌女儿听改成英文的吧！大概在几个月开始培养英文兴趣好呢？

这个阶段的孩子,在玩耍和生活中渗入不同的语言是好的,但是如果日常对话全部用某种外语--暂时还接受不了,也不认为有这个必要.
现在是培养感觉和兴趣就OK了.~

今天晚上，骏骏洗完澡，在擦身子的时候，我想问他点什么事情，谁知刚叫了他的名字，他就打断我说：“Daddy, don't disturb me. I am downloading something into my brain.”
我听了觉得好笑，但见他一脸认真严肃的样子，似乎在思考什么重要的事情，也就忍住笑，且让他思考去。最近我常用 iPad 下载东西，叫他暂时别碰，告诉他“Because I am downloading something.”他就学会了download 这个词，可惜却没用对地方。
过了一会儿，骏骏回过神来，扭头看我，我就说：“When you are downloading something, there should be a website or a source for you to download from. Where are you downloading from? Are you downloading something from my brain into your brain?”骏骏没有正面回答我的问题，只是笑道：“No. I was downloading the design of a special ship into my brain.”
我好奇地问：“What does it look like? What is it for?”
骏骏答道：“It's a ship that can make shallow water deeper. It has two wheels on each side, and there are many shovels attached to them. When the wheels turn, they can shovel the mud at the bottom of water away.”
我大为惊奇：这孩子，才五岁九个月多一点，能有这样的想法，也真不简单了！
我由衷地赞了句：“That's really a good idea!”然后继续问他：“But where can the mud go? Does it shovel the mud to the shore or to the ship itself?”
骏骏说：“To the ship. Then the ship can dump it somewhere else.”
我又帮骏骏出个主意：“Maybe the ship can tow a barge behind it. It can shovel the mud to the barge, and then tow the barge to somewhere else to dump the mud.”
骏骏听了，又有了新主意：“I can put a conveyor belt between the ship and the barge. When the ship is full, it can move more mud to the barge, so the ship and the barge can carry more mud in one trip.”
天哪，这个小脑袋，太厉害了！
